Our Ruby Tessa looks straight ahead – into the future of Rotterdam. Born from a city that chose progress over nostalgia, she captures Rotterdam’s fearless post-war spirit and its belief that tomorrow is built today. Inspired by the optimism of 1950s modernism and the bold visions of futurism, we’ve mixed clean architectural lines with playful retro-future accents and a confident ’80s edge. Ruby Tessa is a place to pause, reset and tap into a city that never stops moving forward. With 225 rooms, she rises in Galshaven, just southwest of the city centre, putting Rotterdam’s historic heart, the iconic Market Hall and excellent transport connections within easy reach – while the skyline around you proves one thing: the future is now.
We are a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in some of Europe's most exciting locations and many more projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury.
The role is set to start in September, just in time for the opening of our hotel in October. First interviews are planned for the middle of August, and those invited to our first audition will hear from us separately.

Trust us, you won't get bored, as you:
spend most of your time on the floor, checking the cleanliness of our hotel rooms and public areas
substitute our Housekeeping Operations Manager during their absence
share responsibility for our housekeeping team, which includes both internal staff and external cleaning companies, and ensure the team works together smoothly
train and coach the team, ensuring that the established quality standards are maintained and followed
assist in coordinating the external cleaning companies, handling orders, and checking delivery bills
work hand in hand with our hosts and hotel maintenance to fulfil the wishes of our guests
We've been waiting for you, since you have/are:
previous experience in the same position
a passion for cleanliness and order, with a keen eye for detail
presenting yourself confidently, bringing joy to the workplace, and humour is second nature to you
enjoying working with international guests and know exactly how to respond smartly to their diverse needs
speaking fluent Dutch and can communicate well in English
