Job PurposeOur Paid Search (SEA) consultants team is working on helping our clients develop and grow their online businesses. As a Lead you’ll manage a team of SEA specialists ranging from junior to senior level across one of our key e‑commerce clients. You will run campaigns and act as a business partner for our clients, consulting them on marketing needs, challenging their goals, assessing feasibility and driving resolution.
This role requires a deep understanding of paid search, strategic planning and a passion for driving results. The ideal candidate can manage and optimize paid search and shopping campaigns, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
You are a critical thinker and analytical problem solver, equally curious and creative. You have a strong command of paid search platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads, and can communicate complex ideas to clients and stakeholders. You have a track record of driving results and optimizing campaigns to meet client objectives. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the growth and success of our clients’ digital campaigns.
Besides client responsibilities, you will develop your team. Together with the department head you are responsible for ensuring every member has what they need to deliver their best work and grow professionally.
What You’ll Do- Develop and implement effective paid search strategies that align with client objectives and target audiences.
- Spot client challenges with the team and stimulate solutions.
- Manage multi‑market paid search and shopping campaigns for clients.
- Leverage automation and data, including AI, to improve performance.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data and provide regular reports to clients with key metrics and recommendations.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices in paid search advertising.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with client goals.
- Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Be aware of the well‑being, development and progress of team members.
- Create personal development plans with team members and provide structural guidance.
- Define team expectations and communicate them effectively.
- 6+ years of solid experience creating, managing and optimizing paid search & shopping campaigns, preferably within a digital agency or similar environment.
- Experience mentoring or guiding a team of digital specialists.
- Self‑confident, competent and empathetic, convincing colleagues and clients of your ideas.
- Strong knowledge of paid search platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads.
- Proven track record of driving results and optimizing campaigns to meet client objectives.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive campaign optimisation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical, flexible and able to work independently.
- Can present complex results in clear, understandable language.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Located in the UK and ready to commute to London or Manchester office twice a week.
