The Regional Sales Director Benelux will report to the Senior Vice President Sales EMEA. The role is responsible for defining go‑to‑market strategy, identifying key sales opportunities and managing a high‑performing sales team across the Benelux region.
General Description and Overall Objectives- Drive sales of Extreme's products, services, and solutions to customers in the region.
- Assess, build, and develop individual and team capability to support accelerated growth.
- Lead a small but focused team of around 25 people across sales, channel, presales, operations, and support, and scale the team as required.
- Lead Account Managers and Systems Engineering counterparts to grow business within the assigned geography.
- Apply tactical and strategic go‑to‑market models to grow customer base, revenue, and retention.
- Develop territory plans and quota assignments for assigned geographic areas.
- Model the "Extreme Way" as a key leader of the company.
- Work with the team to build a pipeline of opportunities and assess larger opportunities using the MEDDPICC methodology.
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales achievement using Salesforce and Clari.
- Ensure the team sells based on value, features, and functionality.
- Represent Extreme at customer forums and executive briefing visits.

- Drive high‑wide expansion into larger accounts, including executive briefing visits.
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Effectively utilize and develop assigned staff, including succession planning.
- Develop three‑year, one‑year, and quarterly plans.
- Retain and develop key talent.

- BA/BS degree from a four‑year college or university; MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience managing regional sales teams in major accounts and priority verticals such as healthcare, education, retail, and government.
- Background in the technology sector, networking sales, security, managed services, or software.
- Ability to relate to all levels of management and employees with ease and enthusiasm.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a nice‑to‑have.
- Business acumen necessary to sell in the enterprise network space.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver solutions to executive audiences.
- Customer identification, business analysis, and research skills.
- Ability to position products correctly and deliver a technological advancement story that solves business problems with quantifiable results.
OTE is on a 50/50 split and ranges from 200,000 to 230,000 USD based on qualifications and experience.
