HSE OFFICER - ENG

As an HSE Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards at our manufacturing site in Veghel. You will support the organization in creating a safe, sustainable, and compliant working environment.

• Coordinating and improving HSE processes in line with corporate standards.
• Supporting the development and implementation of the site's HSE strategy together with the QHSE Manager.
• Delivering HSE training and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Leading and supporting sustainability initiatives related to waste, energy, and environmental performance.
• Preparing and supporting internal and external audits, including ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
• Managing HSE reporting, KPI dashboards, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintaining Risk Assessments (RI&E) and ensuring timely follow‑up of corrective actions.
• Advising and supporting managers and employees on HSE‑related topics and best practices.

• A NEBOSH certification, Intermediate Safety Management (MVK), Integrated Safety & Security Management, or an equivalent/higher qualification in Health, Safety & Environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in an HSE‑related role, preferably within a complex and international organization.
• Knowledge of and experience with HSE management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to adapt information to different target audiences.
• Strong digital skills, including experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Excel.

Our manufacturing facility in Veghel is at the heart of producing components for international projects within the Airport, Warehouse, and Parcel business segments. With more than 165 skilled professionals, we work every day on products that are deployed worldwide. As an HSE Officer, you will work closely with various production teams and colleagues from the local HSE team. You will have a visible presence on the shop floor, interact with stakeholders at different levels of the organization, and play a key role in further strengthening and professionalizing our HSE culture. You will be part of the QHSE team, working alongside five quality professionals and reporting directly to the QHSE Manager. Together, you will contribute to creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment while supporting continuous improvement across the factory.
