OverviewMoog is a performance culture that empowers people to achieve great things. The EHS Specialist plays a key role in translating global EHS policy into local action, fostering a strong safety culture, and contributing to environmental stewardship within a technical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Serve as the point of contact for all EHS matters, collaborating with knowledge holders, managers, and employees.
- Translate and implement Moog Global EHS Policy into local policies and clear work instructions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programmes, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Lead EHS training, toolbox meetings, and facility management initiatives to improve workplace safety and environmental performance.
- Investigate observations, incidents, and near‑misses, conduct root‑cause analysis, and identify preventive and corrective measures.
- Collect, analyze, and report ESG data and support sustainability initiatives.
- Manage the internal approval process for chemical use and maintain safety data sheets.
- Coordinate and conduct regular risk analyses, develop action plans, and monitor compliance with safety and facility procedures.
- Lead the continuous improvement of the safety culture throughout the organisation.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- Completed vocational training such as MVK or HVK, or comparable experience.
- At least 3years of EHS experience in a technical manufacturing setting.
- Current knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards.
- Strong leadership, project‑management, and collaborative problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, orally and written.
- Self‑starter who works plan‑matically, structured, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work with international and multicultural teams to implement global EHS initiatives.
