QA Officer

As a QA Officer, you play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the quality management system in line with BaseClear’s quality standards. You will support audits, ensure regulatory and internal compliance, and act as quality ambassador within the organization.

• Maintain and improve the quality management system (eQMS) and ensure documentation is audit-ready.
• Conduct internal audits according to the audit program.
• Support risk assessments, validations, and controlled implementation of changes.
• Train and advise colleagues on audits, deviations, complaints, and risk management.
• Assist with external audits and client inspections.
• Contribute to CAPA plans and provide input for reporting and trend analyses.
• Oversee QC release of reports, controls, and materials.

• BSc/MSc in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or related field with minimum 3 years laboratory experience.
• At least 2 years experience as a QA auditor.
• Working knowledge of ISO17025 and EU/US GMP standards regarding QC testing.
• Experience with Zenya considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
• Based within 35 km of the Leiden office.

Will be based within 35 km of the Leiden office. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
