We are seeking a visionary Principal, Video Editing, to lead the post‑production lifecycle for our most ambitious projects. In this role, you will craft compelling stories from creator content and raw footage, manage high‑volume performance marketing campaigns, and balance creative storytelling with efficient production workflows.
Responsibilities- Craft compelling stories from creator content and raw, high‑quality footage, applying platform‑first logic to ensure maximum engagement.
- Partner closely with Visual and Motion Designers to integrate advanced UI animations, 2D designs, or 3D elements into seamless video creative.
- Develop and oversee automated templates and scripted workflows to generate high volumes of creative variants (e.g., A/B testing assets) without sacrificing quality.
- Work alongside cross‑functional teams to pitch concepts—balancing safe brand‑standard executions with experimental ideas, ensuring a cohesive campaign look and feel.
- Use insights from marketing teams to iterate on edits, refreshing creative based on real‑time performance data and audience resonance.
- Lead internal brainstorms and external client presentations, acting as the technical and creative authority for post‑production.
- Proactively manage complex timelines and workstreams, maintaining clear communication with leadership and producers to meet all review and live dates.
- Remain hyper‑attuned to evolving design trends, social shifts, and digital culture, pivoting professionally based on constructive critique.
- 5+ years of video editing experience, with at least 2+ years in a fast‑paced agency environment or high‑growth internal creative team.
- Strong reel featuring tech‑forward clients (e.g., Google, Meta, Stripe) or high‑growth D2C brands.
- Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, and strong working knowledge of Figma and Illustrator to extract assets and interpret layout intent.
- Experience or demonstrable interest in AI‑assisted editing, using tools like Gemini for scripting or vibe‑coding plugins to 10x production speed.
- Deep understanding of professional sound design/mixing and advanced color grading (Lumetri or DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to jump between high‑level creative strategy/brainstorming and in‑the‑weeds technical execution for high‑volume assets.
- Work from our Buenos Aires offices (Villa Crespo or Mar del Plata) as often you’d like.
