This is a fixed term contract through until 31st December 2026. This role is part of our eBay Inhouse team, where you will be employed by DEPT® but embedded within eBay.
JOB PURPOSEAs a Marketing Executive you’ll be working seamlessly with the eBay Marketing team, you will be confident in your abilities to work autonomously coordinating, executing and reporting on marketing campaigns across eBay owned channels. Day-to-day, you will support the eBay owned channels team with the rollout of planned activity across owned channels including onsite & app, push notification, SMS & email marketing.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Campaign Briefing: Work closely with eBay internal team, eBay partner agencies, global partners and internal teams as required to define campaign briefs.
- Campaign Execution & Ownership: Execute campaigns, from briefing and coordination through to testing and reporting ensuring positive customer experiences.
- Collaborating with our merchandising specialists to drive demand in category growth and ensure all campaigns run in synergy across all points of eBay’s buyer journey.
- Campaign Reporting: Report on campaigns and put forward recommendations for optimisation opportunities based on data and insights.
- Innovative thinking: Put forward innovative ideas to test and optimise campaigns, improve ways of working and drive efficiencies.
- CRM Program Support: Support eBay’s CRM program and campaigns including rollout of new campaigns and optimisation of existing campaigns based on test results as required.
- Always acting as a custodian for eBay to ensure all campaigns meet eBay’s brand guidelines.
- Delivery of +10 campaigns per month; ranging from simple OM banner activations to detailed multi‑channel CRM campaigns.
- EOC reporting for all delivered campaigns.
- Ongoing reporting for recurring campaigns.
- Ideally at least 1 test and learn executed each month to capture learnings and insights that improve recurring campaign performance.
- Ability to self‑educate, learn fast and work autonomously.
- 3‑5 years experience within a marketing coordinator role, looking for the next step up.
- Highly desirable: 2+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Braze or other CRM alternatives.
- Strong prioritisation skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Experience in managing reporting and delivering tangible insights & actions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and achieve communications/marketing and customer goals.
- Ability to network, build relationships and influence stakeholders upwards, downward and across teams.
