Our team consists of highly skilled engineers and project managers. To expand our sales force, we are looking for an ambitious Sales Executive (Field Sales / B2B Sales) with strong commercial drive and a passion for technology.
Position OverviewAs a Sales Executive Industrial Automation, you will be responsible for new business development and expanding our customer base in the Netherlands and Flanders. You will identify client challenges in manufacturing automation, packaging technology, and robotics integration, and translate these needs into tailor-made technical solutions together with our project team.
You will play a key role in building long‑term client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and positioning DH Automation Technology as a trusted partner. With excellent communication skills, you can engage confidently at all levels—from the shop floor to technical specialists and executive management.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business in the industrial automation and manufacturing sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all organizational levels.
- Identify client requirements and convert them into customized automation solutions.
- Lead and coordinate sales proposals, quotations, and negotiations in collaboration with internal teams.
- Represent DH Automation at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Provide market insights on trends, customer needs, and competitors.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial automation, machinery, packaging solutions, robotics, or technical software.
- Understanding of manufacturing environments and production processes.
- Proven track record in solution selling or consultative sales.
- Strong affinity with process automation, control systems, or production IT (MES/WMS).
- Experience with long sales cycles and capital equipment is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical or commercial field.
- Proactive, independent, and results‑driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convert customer challenges into practical technical solutions.
- Strong persuasive skills without being pushy.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Netherlands and Flanders.
