As an International Account Manager, you are constantly on the move and highly commercially driven. You travel abroad on a monthly basis to visit your clients and suppliers.

Our client is an international organisation active in the recycling industry. From their office in the Netherlands close to Rotterdam, they act as a partner for both suppliers and customers and collaborate closely with various governments. The company has experienced rapid growth and currently employs approximately 150 people.
Due to expansion, they are looking for an International Account Manager to strengthen their team. You will become part of an international sales team and be responsible for your own region, with a strong focus on the Eastern European market. The organisation has an informal culture with a hands-on "Rotterdam mentality."
Description
As an international accountmanager you will have following key responsibilities:
- Selling products and services
- Expanding existing client relationships
- Building new customer and supplier relationships
- Visiting clients and suppliers (primarily in Eastern Europe and the Balkan region)
- Purchasing products
- Identifying new sales and sourcing channels
- Collaborating with internal departments
Profile
As an international accountmanager you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- Bachelor's degree (HBO level), preferably in a commercial field
- Commercial work experience (preferably as an Account Manager or Trader)
- Willingness to travel abroad several times per month
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial and confident personality
- Fluent in English is a must, fluency in Dutch is a plus
- Fluency in a Balkan language (such as Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, or similar) is a must due to the focus on the Eastern European market
