What do you do as an HR Consultant?
As a trusted HR partner, you support a diverse portfolio of clients with advice that works in daily practice. Dutch labour law and compliance hold no secrets for you, and you translate complex legislation into clear, actionable guidance in English. You lead HR projects, shape and implement policies, and advise on employment conditions, absenteeism and recruitment. Moving effortlessly between strategy and hands on execution, you turn complex challenges into practical solutions that create real impact. Together with specialist colleagues, you help clients move forward. Where do you see opportunities to make an impact?
Internally, you collaborate within a Dutch speaking HR team where knowledge sharing is key.
Working internationally
From a webshop expanding into Belgium to a US based organisation setting up in the Netherlands. As an HR Consultant International, you advise entrepreneurs on cross border HR questions that go beyond policies alone. You operate at the intersection of labour law, legislation and culture, always with attention to the people and ambitions behind the organisation. Because growing across borders starts with trust.
You are part of our multidisciplinary International team within Visser & Visser. You work in a domain where location, expertise and industry come together, collaborating closely with colleagues from tax advisory, accountancy and corporate finance. English is your main working language, as you communicate daily with international clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in an HR advisory role
- Completed bachelor’s degree in HRM or a related field
- Proven knowledge of and experience with Dutch labour law and employment legislation
- Ability to explain and apply Dutch legislation in English to international clients
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both C1), spoken and written
- Experience with AFAS and or Nmbrs is a plus
- Flexibility to work across different locations
