Our client is a globally established electrical manufacturing and clean energy technology enterprise specializing in premium electrical infrastructure products and residential energy storage solutions. With decades of manufacturing expertise, advanced R&D capabilities, and strong international distribution networks, the company is actively expanding its clean energy business across Europe through household energy storage systems, smart inverters, lithium battery technologies, and integrated residential power solutions.

To strengthen its market penetration within the Netherlands, the company is building a localized commercial structure focused on distributor expansion and residential ESS market growth. The organization operates within a highly entrepreneurial, performance‑driven environment where regional leaders are empowered to independently develop channel ecosystems and establish long‑term B2B partnerships across the renewable energy sector.

Job Role

The Country Manager – Netherlands will lead the expansion of the company's residential energy storage business within the Dutch market. This role is responsible for developing distributor channels, managing strategic B2B sales pipelines, and driving long‑term market penetration across the renewable energy ecosystem.

Acting as a highly independent commercial leader, the successful candidate will engage directly with solar distributors, EPC contractors, electrical wholesalers, and clean energy solution providers to position the company's residential ESS portfolio within the local market. The role requires strong technical understanding of energy storage systems combined with advanced business development and contract negotiation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute localized market expansion strategies for residential energy storage solutions in the Netherlands.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, solar EPC companies, electrical wholesalers, and clean energy partners.
  • Lead end‑to‑end B2B sales activities including lead generation, client visits, product presentations, sample coordination, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Expand and manage a structured distributor pipeline with clear market segmentation and channel prioritization.
  • Conduct technical and commercial presentations regarding residential ESS systems, inverters, lithium battery solutions, and smart energy management technologies.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market developments, pricing trends, and customer feedback within the Dutch renewable energy market.
  • Coordinate closely with global headquarters regarding product strategy, customer requirements, and market intelligence.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of distributor partnerships, sales operations, and delivery coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Must hold valid permanent residency or long‑term legal working rights in the Netherlands.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of direct commercial experience in residential ESS, solar energy, renewable energy, or related electrical infrastructure industries.
  • Proven experience handling B2B sales pipelines and distributor network development independently.
  • Strong understanding of residential energy storage systems, lithium batteries, solar inverters, BMS, and home energy solutions.
  • Experience working with distributors, EPC companies, energy solution providers, or electrical equipment trading businesses.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship‑building, and commercial execution capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in a regional market‑building role.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch; Mandarin proficiency is mandatory for coordination with headquarters.
