As Teamleader / Assistent Operations Leader at MixMasters, you are responsible for coordinating the work in the production department. You ensure that production objectives are achieved and that the team functions optimally. Working in a food supplement production environment, you uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, hygiene and output in every shift and for products. You manage production workers, supervise the team, and solve operational problems hands‑on. Together with the Production Lead, you have the scope to improve work processes and drive standardisation on the shop floor.
What will you do?Lead and motivate the production team: coordinate tasks, ensure smooth shift handovers, and train employees on work methods, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Production coordination: oversee weighing, mixing, packaging, and labeling of food supplement products, including timely and accurate order processing.
Quality control: perform quality checks according to the established system and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene (GMP/HACCP), and quality standards.
Process optimization: standardise work processes, document best practices, update work instructions, and ensure consistent implementation.
Equipment and workplace management: monitor machine and equipment operation, address minor issues when possible, and maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workplace.
Reporting and scheduling: report production and quality results to the Production Lead and Operations Manager, and manage employee scheduling using the planning tool.
Experience & BackgroundA good command of English is required, as it is the working language on the production floor and for reporting. Dutch is a plus, but being a native speaker is not essential. The role also requires flexibility, with the willingness and ability to work in a 1-shift or 2-shift system depending on production demand, and to adapt to shift schedules and occasional overtime.
5–10 years of practical experience in a production environment.
Experience as a line operator with potential to step up or as an experienced shift leader.
Strong preference for experience in the food industry.
Familiarity with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) is a significant advantage.
MBO (secondary vocational) education level required.
Technical background preferred.
