Purpose- The Group Contract Management Director develops the Contract Management strategy for SBM.
- You coordinate and manage the structure, resources, processes and procedures to ensure optimised Contract Management enablement to the business to maximise opportunity and mitigate risks.
- You provide Contract Management guidance and support across the business to key stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
- You develop the CM strategy for SBM.
- You provide expertise and support for CM across W & G, turnkey, and Operations to key stakeholders and Executive Management.
- You ensure fully resourced and adapted personnel, adherence to best practices and procedures.
- You coordinate and interface with key stakeholders to ensure adapted support.
- You optimize Contract Management for the business.
- You develop and manage strategies for Contract Management.
- You oversee personnel development and organization.
- You develop and maintain good communications.
- You coordinate interfaces with other disciplines at the group level.
- You continuously optimize and standardize practices and processes.
- Taking a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens.
- Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
- Building strong‑identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
- You assess risks and opportunities, and drive strategy and development.
- Degree or MBA in one of the following disciplines (Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying).
- 20+ years of experience covering all aspects contract management including Claims, EPCI, subcontract management.
- Broad experience in sales and lease contracts, in executing contract negotiation and claims.
- Experience of project execution interface.
- Experience within the Oil & Gas industry preferred.
- Contract law and model contract knowledge

- Contractual and commercial negotiation
