The Senior Consultant SAP S/4HANA MM / PTP will play a key role in the end-to-end design, build, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay processes across implementation and rollout programs. The consultant is expected to bring strong functional expertise, hands‑on configuration capability, and prior S/4HANA implementation experience, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver high quality solutions. The role also supports our growing focus on SAP S/4HANA in both Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments.
TeamThe SAP Competence Center assists organizations in successfully implementing SAP S/4HANA and related SAP applications. The team bridges the gap between business and IT.
Responsibilities- Design, configure, and test SAP MM functionalities to meet business requirements.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions to understand business objectives and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
- Provide expertise in MRP, purchase order management, contract management, inventory management, warehouse management, inbound logistics, intercompany and intracompany, and billing.
- Analyze complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, and design system specifications.
- Collaborate with consultants from other SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI) for process integration.
- Offer ongoing post‑implementation support to ensure user adoption and system optimization.
- Stay updated on SAP updates and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Completed Bachelor or Masters education, e.g. Business Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in industry or consultancy.
- Experience in SAP P2P implementations, including hands‑on involvement in at least one full life cycle project or equivalent transformation experience.
- Proven knowledge and experience in SAP P2P solutions.
- Strong business process knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is an advantage.
- An independent, proactive and flexible work attitude.
- Very good analytical and critical skills.
- Furthermore, you do not mind having to travel (internationally).
- Hands‑on experience with the SAP Activate project delivery methodology.
- Skills to work well in a team and have ambitions to grow into a professional within our leading organization.
- Skills to independently identify (follow‑up) assignments with existing customers.
- Skills and sense of responsibility to supervise more junior colleagues and to support them professionally.

- Flexible working: you decide where and when you work in consultation with your team. At home, at the office, at the client or from another European country (up to 20 working days per year).

- Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY's financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on the function) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month.
