One of our partners, Thales, is looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist for the Enterprise Information Management team in Hengelo.
Thales in the Netherlands has committed to the objective to become a ‘data-driven company’, where facts and unambiguous information lead decision‑making. As a BI specialist you will gather requested business information and design clear dashboards for our internal customers. At the start of the week you review the sprint backlog to see which tasks are assigned to you, align with the product owner and business analyst, and contact the business user to refine information specifications. Together with the solution architect and data manager you investigate which data is required, determine how long it will take to extract and validate data, and you are capable of executing ETL activities yourself. While they build the dashboards in PowerBI you keep close contact with the business user to agree upon the visual design. At the end of the two‑week sprint you deliver a new component of the dashboard and in the next sprint continue with additional components.
You play an important role in the internal digital transformation journey of Thales in the Netherlands. You are a go‑getter who see this assignment as a journey full of chances and possibilities. You are flexible, challenge the status‑quo, bring new energy to the team and be able to address different audiences with strong communication skills.

- Room for personal and professional growth within the organisation (technical, commercial or international skills).
- Valuable international collaboration with coworkers from 68 different countries.
- Comfortable workspace in a modern environment with a focus on flexibility and work‑life balance.
