Independent Working Cooks I in the Netherlands

Restaurant Feefa Buitenpost B.V. Is looking for four Independent Working Cooks I (Zelfstandig Werkend Kok I).

We are a Chinese all-you-can-eat restaurant with takeaway and catering services, and we are looking for four enthusiastic independent cooks to strengthen our kitchen team. Do you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen environment? Then you would fit perfectly into our team.

You will assist in preparing dishes and work closely with colleagues in the kitchen. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team, and you take responsibility for maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic working environment.

Tasks

What are your responsibilities?

• Selecting and preparing ingredients (such as washing, cutting, and mixing)
• Applying basic cooking techniques
• Carrying out intermediate checks (such as doneness, taste, and color) and making adjustments where necessary
• Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene
• Supervising kitchen assistants and correcting them when needed
• Managing inventory, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries
• Cleaning the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations daily
• Reporting technical defects and solving simple malfunctions

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• You take independent initiative and act solution-oriented.
• You work with conviction and dare to take responsibility.
• MBO-3 work and thinking level (If you don't meet the requirements, apply anyway!)
• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
