Purpose

• The New Market Program Lead assesses the value chain to identify where value can be created and defines and matures product opportunities for SBM Offshore on new markets.
• Leads internal cross‑functional teams and interfaces with external partners to translate market insights, technology requirements, and business strategy into actionable program roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Assess and quantify a new market potential through analysis of various technical and economical criteria and indicators.
• Identify market needs and pain points and potential product opportunities.
• Identify and address challenges for new market penetration and optimize overall investment.
• Evaluate fit with corporate strategic objectives.
• Assess the value chain and recommend SBM positioning in new market.
• Define and own the Business Roadmap and its Strategy, including business and technical activities.
• Engage with main internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and communicate updates.
• Proactively engage with management for decision making and validation of roadmap.
• Define and maintain the program organization, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
• Ensure the team has the balance of skills and expertise required to deliver the program streams.
• Provide the leadership direction required to main contributors to deliver as per plan.
• Foster teamwork and cooperation within the internal stakeholders.
• Manage communication and reporting across all internal and external stakeholders.

Education

• University degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• A business degree is a plus.

Experience

• 10–15 years’ experience in key industries such as oil & gas, energy, chemicals, or similar, including experience in project management.
