Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Global Process Owner (GPO) – Finance & Control to play a key role in shaping and executing our global finance vision.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, translating business vision into scalable, compliant, and efficient finance & control processes across regions. You will collaborate closely with CFO, regional finance managers, middle management of other functions, and IT to co‑create solutions that drive real business impact.
This is a highly visible role combining strategic thinking, stakeholder leadership, and execution excellence.
In this position your key responsibilities will be: Strategic & Executive Partnership- Engage regularly with CFO to understand the company’s vision, strategic priorities, and financial roadmap for the current and upcoming years
- Translate executive intent into clear finance & control priorities, initiatives, and roadmaps
- Act as a trusted advisor on finance process design, governance, and transformation
- Define and maintain global standards, policies, and governance while balancing regional needs
- Ensure consistency, scalability, and transparency across all regions
- Lead global finance programs and improvement initiatives aligned with business strategy
- Drive change management, stakeholder adoption, and communication across functions and regions
- Partner with middle management to co‑create practical and sustainable solutions
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and governance frameworks
- Identify, assess, and mitigate finance-related risks
- Support audit readiness and continuous control improvement
- Work closely with IT and data teams on finance systems, automation, and reporting solutions
- Translate finance requirements into clear system and data needs
- Promote data-driven decision-making within Finance & Control
- Proven experience in Finance & Control, finance transformation, or global process ownership
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes, internal controls, and compliance
- Experience working in an international, multi‑stakeholder environment
- Exposure to finance systems (ERP, consolidation, reporting tools)
- Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with CXO-level stakeholders
- Ability to understand strategic vision and convert it into actionable initiatives
- Strong influencing skills, capable of aligning stakeholders without direct authority
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on co‑creation rather than top‑down implementation
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, “gets it done” attitude
- Strong communicator, able to tailor messages from executive to operational level
- Structured problem-solver with resilience and ownership
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change
- Proven project and program management experience in complex, cross‑functional or international environments
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, timelines, and risks simultaneously
- Certification or Hand‑on experience of working with project management & improvement methodologies like PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 (Practitioner or equivalent), Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe, Scrum Master, AgilePM, or similar), Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools
