In this role, you will collect, process, and verify relevant information from various parties within the logistics chain, with a strong focus on import sea freight. You will monitor the progress and completeness of shipments and ensure that everything proceeds according to plan.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating import sea freight shipments from start to finish
- Creating and managing shipping files, including cost monitoring, bookings, and revenue
- Providing instructions for proper financial and administrative processing
- Maintaining contact with customers, shipping lines, and other parties involved regarding operational progress
- Monitoring shipments and promptly following up on discrepancies
- Reporting to the Import Team Leader
- Actively contributing to process improvements, efficiency, and digitization within the department
- You are a well-organized professional with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an interest in logistics.
- You have a high school diploma
- Experience in a similar role is a plus
- You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- You have experience with WMS and Microsoft Office 365
- You have a customer-focused attitude
- You are flexible and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality
