Housekeeping Staff – City Center Lodge Utrecht

City Center Lodge Utrecht is a four-star boutique hotel with 22 rooms in the heart of Utrecht, where comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail are an essential part of the guest experience.

As part of our housekeeping team, you help ensure that every guest arrives in a clean, comfortable, and well-prepared room. In a smaller hotel like ours, attention to detail matters, and the work you do has a direct impact on the quality of each guest’s stay.

As Housekeeping Staff, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of both our guest rooms and public areas.

This role is about more than cleaning alone. We are looking for someone who works carefully, notices details, and understands the importance of consistency.

You will work independently as well as together with colleagues to ensure rooms are cleaned efficiently, supplies are restocked, and hotel standards are maintained throughout the day.

Your tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures

• Cleaning and maintaining public areas

• Replenishing room amenities and housekeeping supplies

• Restocking and organising the linen room

• Ensuring rooms are clean, complete, and ready for arriving guests

• Identifying and reporting technical issues or irregularities to reception

• Working with the correct cleaning products and materials

• Following hygiene, safety, and housekeeping procedures

• Supporting the overall guest experience through cleanliness and presentation

• Affinity with cleaning, hospitality, or hotel operations

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is a plus

• Good eye for detail and cleanliness

• Able to perform physical work and stay active throughout the shift

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work independently and efficiently

• Flexible availability, including weekends

• Good command of Dutch or English

• Own transport or living in/near Utrecht is a plus

• A varied role in a small and personal hotel
