Action is a great store for affordable craft supplies and home projects. Behind our stores lies a large HR department supporting more than 80,000 employees across Europe. We are looking for experienced, French-speaking HR Administrators to help us do it well.
This is your daily actionYou will be part of one of four international country teams, each responsible for the HR administration of a specific group of countries. Teams cover the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Croatia, Czechia, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Portugal.
The HR administration department supports the employee lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding to timekeeping and contract changes. This includes drafting employment contracts, verifying new hire information, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, recording hours worked, calculating and paying salaries, and registering absenteeism in line with local labour laws. You will also manage changes during tenure (e.g., role transitions or address updates) and handle related documentation, including employer statements and work permits.

This is youYou enjoy helping colleagues and performing HR administration accurately. You will be part of an international, multilingual team. You are precise, well organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You communicate clearly and take ownership of your work.
In addition:
- A completed HBO education, preferably in HR or Administration
- At least 2 years of administrative or HR experience
- Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken
- Good command of Dutch is an advantage
- Knowledge of another European language is a plus — speaking a language of another Action country is a big advantage
