Vacaturebeschrijving

In het kort

Do you want to be part of the Data & AI Revolution? Do you have a strong passion for data & AI and do you also believe that these are at the core of unlocking value for customers? Does working in a complex environment energize you? Then come and help us unlock the power of data & AI at the Central Data Office (CDO) of ABN AMRO!

Je werk

You critically support the execution of the ABN AMRO strategy: a Personal Bank in a Digital Age. By monitoring and guiding strategic decisions needed for accelerating execution. You ensure that the entire bank follows the correct route towards a fully data & AI driven organisation. You are energized by submerging yourself in a brand-new initiative, shaping, socializing and ensuring it is properly anchored for successful execution.

You are responsible for measuring and steering (data & AI) performance across all parties that play a pivotal role. Including Data Domains, CDO, IT, and Executive Board (ExBo). You translate the (bank, data & AI)_ strategies into meaningful performance indicators, provide insight through high‑quality reporting, and enable effective performance dialogues across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and operationalise performance management mechanisms on data & AI across the bank.
  • Deliver high‑quality management information and ExBo reporting with actionable insights and clear narratives.
  • Translate strategies into clear, consistent performance indicators (KPIs and metrics) across data domains, CDO, ExBo, and other areas as needed.
  • Coordinate performance management across stakeholders (data domains, CDO functions, CDO and bank leadership) to ensure consistent objectives, messaging, alignment and ownership.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies in end‑to‑end performance measurement and reporting, from data sourcing to reporting.
  • Propose and drive remediation actions to improve reporting quality, coherence, and actionability of management information.
  • Facilitate performance dialogues by providing fact‑based insights and highlighting risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Shape, prioritise, and coordinate the CDO BI dashboard and reporting agenda in close collaboration with the Enterprise Enabling Data Domain BI delivery team.
  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team, focusing on measuring, steering and optimizing the performance of our data and AI processes. The role operates in a complex stakeholder environment across the bank, requiring strong coordination skills and the ability to connect insights across domains and levels.
Werkomgeving

The team is part of the Data Governance department within the CDO organization. The team consists of 4 employees who directly report to the Head of (Data & AI) Strategy, Design & Performance Management.

Next to your day‑to‑day work, there is room to design, create and implement new processes especially when you are the one who is suggesting the change for the better! We do so in an open and transparent way of working where your opinion is valued and dialogue is encouraged. The team is diverse with regard to culture, experience and age. The atmosphere is lively and informal, closely monitoring a safe environment where everyone is able to share their thoughts, feelings and worries. It is normal to make mistakes and we aim to help each other grow better as learning is one of our main focuses.

The team you become part of is in constant collaboration with all business lines, international branches and subsidiaries of the bank. We all work together at the frontier of the largest data & AI revolution in the banking industry and with the core value‑assets of the organization.

Je profiel
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across various levels and aligning multiple parties across end‑to‑end processes.
  • Experience in writing executive‑level reporting and performance narrative.
  • Experience in performance management, KPI design, and management reporting in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience with BI delivery, dashboards, and reporting products, including translating business needs into insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical capability to identify reporting gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Proactive, improvement‑driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Wij bieden
