Your role & work environmentYou ensure that Tribe Insurance’s activities are safe so that we can show that to regulators and the outside world. You contribute to the integrity of ING’s products, services, employees and compliance with the outside world. You are a business partner in the first line of defense, part of the Agile Delivery & Client Services Organisation (Tribes, Squads, Customer Loyalty Teams, Centre of Expertise, etc.) that promotes awareness of the concept of "Safe Business" to ensure that business risks are under control. This means that you proactively manage the entire risk process, from identification to management and mitigation of risks. You ensure that the number of non‑financial risks remains within the organisation’s risk appetite and risks are identified in a transparent manner.
Your responsibilities- Advise and assist with the implementation of new and updated non‑financial risk policies, procedures and measures.
- In collaboration with stakeholders, identify risk items based on business knowledge of the end‑to‑end business processes.
- Provide evidence, document and report the risks.
- Actively involved in discussions about, for example, risk acceptance and measures to limit risk exposure.
- Help with providing analyses (gap analysis, scenario analysis, major incident and impact analysis).
- Be co‑gatekeeper of the Product Approval and Review Process (PARP) within the Tribe.
- Contribute to the risk assessment plan and prepare it.
- Participate in the agile ceremonies (marketplaces, sprint planning and demo, risk wall in Obeya Room) to stay informed about the most important activities at all times.
- Take care of and maintain risk awareness and evaluate the need for first‑line training for employees. Adapt training to the needs of the first line and organise the annual NFR training and the Awareness Plan.
- Monitor the quality of the non‑financial risk framework by identifying the key risks, conducting key control tests and gathering evidence to avoid the risk of financial loss or reputational damage.
- Contact the 2nd Line of Defence.
- Advise internal stakeholders.

What we ask you to have/are- Current residency in the Netherlands and fluent in both Dutch and English.
- A completed HBO/WO education or demonstrable HBO/WO work and thinking level.
- Proven experience with first‑line risk management is a pre; affinity with this field is a prerequisite.
- Good analytical, coordination and organisation skills.
- You are flexible, communicative, strong, decisive, convincing and take ownership.
- You have both knowledge of processes in general and specific of banking and risk processes.

- 36 or 40 hour work week.
- Individual leave: 24 + 2 individual holiday days based on 36 hr workweek.
