Senior Technical Project Manager (Dutch Speaking)

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you align teams, technology and stakeholders around a shared goal. You anticipate problems before they surface, create momentum where ambiguity exists and help projects and people move forward in meaningful ways.

What you’ll do

You are accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex digital initiatives, from early pre-sales and discovery to execution, transition and handover to run and operate teams. You own the full journey. Processes are not just followed. They are questioned, improved, and adapted when the situation asks for it. The role operates comfortably on both strategic and operational levels in technical environments and brings clarity where others see complexity.

Project leadership & delivery

• Maintain a clear overview of scope, planning, dependencies, risks and quality
• Own risk management end-to-end and act before risks become issues
• Safeguard delivery quality through clear acceptance criteria and structured QA
• Manage change proactively while protecting scope and objectives

Technical collaboration

You work closely with Tech Leads and Architects, asking the right questions to truly understand and align on:

• system architecture, data flows and technical constraints
• technical debt, performance, security, accessibility and GDPR
• You translate technical complexity into clear decisions and expectations, enabling teams to move fast without losing focus.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, requirements gathering and prioritisation

Stakeholder & client management

• Confidently manage internal and external stakeholders, including senior client representatives
• Set and manage expectations openly, especially when trade-offs are required
• Lead complex meetings and workshops with clear outcomes and follow-up
• Escalate early and calmly, with well-considered options and recommendations

Governance & improvement

• Establish and maintain strong project governance, reporting and KPI monitoring
• Improve or create templates, workflows and practices where needed, always with the goal of delivering better work
• Share insights and lessons learned to help evolve Hypersolid’s project management discipline

Our team & culture

You will join a Project Management team of around 10 colleagues, ranging from junior to senior. We work closely together, share knowledge openly, and support each other when projects get challenging. You will have a lot of autonomy but never work in isolation. There is always someone to spar with, challenge assumptions, or help you move forward. We care about the people behind the work and believe that strong collaboration leads to stronger outcomes.

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience in project management within complex, technical environments
• Strong understanding of software lifecycles, data-driven products and modern delivery practices
• Experience with risk management, quality control, backlog refinement and stakeholder management
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and relevant certifications such as PMP, IPMA C or comparable
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
• A natural leadership style with strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-impact environments
• Living in the Netherlands
