Senior Business Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Senior Business Developer to accelerate our growth within the aerospace sector. In this strategic role, you will identify new business opportunities, build long-term partnerships, and drive revenue expansion across national and international markets.

You understand the dynamics of the aerospace ecosystem — from OEMs and Tier suppliers to space and defense stakeholders — and know how to translate complex technical capabilities into commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with company growth objectives
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the aerospace industry
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers, and key industry stakeholders
• Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions
• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
• Represent the company at international aerospace events and trade shows
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in business development within aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing
• Proven track record in securing high-value contracts and strategic partnerships
• Strong understanding of aerospace supply chains, certification environments (e.g., AS9100), and industry standards
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong advantage)
• Willingness to travel internationally
