Responsibilities & Main Tasks- Assist the BOT Director in coordinating project management activities, including planning, recruitment, training, manpower mobilization, and cost control, through the typical WIN and EXECUTE project phases up to FPSO start-up.
- Develop the operational philosophy and detailed project plans, monitor, and report on their implementation.
- Coordinate approval of onshore and offshore core teams and ramp-up plans.
- Work with the Operability Engineer to monitor operational inputs and design comments, ensuring their satisfactory resolution.
- Coordinate the creation of operational and capital spare parts lists and oversee procurement.
- Coordinate the setup of the CMMS (AMOS) system.
- Oversee the development of the PC Management System and operational manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licenses, and permits.
- Assist with establishing or liaising with the Operations Office for FPSO operations.
- Manage SBM Operations personnel in the Execution Center and conversion yard.
- Address technical issues with the project team in design offices and the conversion yard.
- Negotiate and finalize major subcontracts for in-country operations.
- Monitor the implementation of SBM Operations Management system onboard the FPSO prior to departure.
- Oversee document control and filing systems onboard.
- Coordinate the project training matrix and monitor training and competency assessments.
- Track commissioning progress and close out punch list items.
- Coordinate internal pre-sail and pre-start-up audits, ensuring follow-up on actions.
- Provide regular reports to the Operations Readiness Manager.
- Lead operations activities during tender phase.
- Deliver O&M execution deliverables and market inquiries.
- Develop cost-effective O&M execution strategies aligned with company strategy.
- Lead the Operations team, focusing on winning strategies.
- Define optimized operations execution plans.
- Manage interfaces with other product lines and negotiate key subcontracts/vendors.
- Ensure competitive O&M costs, validate cost estimates, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with project teams on overall cycle costs.
- Marine qualification (Master or Chief Engineer) or relevant university degree.
- Minimum 5 years with an offshore contracting company, with at least 3 years in the FSO/FPSO sector.
- High safety awareness and good economic sense.
- Commercial and budget awareness.
- Autonomous with good team spirit.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage multiple activities with flexibility and strong organizational skills.
