The Fulfilment Manager is responsible for the group-wide management and optimization of production planning, procurement planning, and production methodology.
The role safeguards on-time delivery to customers and structurally optimizes working capital (inventory and WIP), production cost efficiency, capacity utilization, and overall supply chain stability.
The Fulfilment Manager determines what is produced, when it is produced, and according to which production methodology (including sub-assemblies and make-or-buy decisions). Operational execution is the responsibility of the Site Manager(s).
Your role includes following responsibilities:1. Group-wide Production Planning- Develop and monitor the integrated production plan
- Prioritize based on contracts, margins, and strategy
- Balance capacity, lead times, and cost efficiency
- Escalate capacity conflicts
- Reduce inventory levels without increasing delivery risk
- Control Work in Progress (WIP)
- Optimize production sequencing to improve cash flow
- Reduce capital tied up in the supply chain
- Optimize economies of scale
- Decide on centralization vs. Decentralization
- Drive standardization and modularization
- Optimize make-or-buy decisions
- Align procurement planning with production planning
- Determine strategic inventory levels
- Manage supply chain risks
- Translate commercial agreements into operational planning
- Realistically manage delivery timelines
- Act as escalation point for conflicting priorities

The Fulfilment Manager is a matrix role without hierarchical responsibility over site employees.
Your profile- Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in production planning, supply chain management, or operations leadership
- Strong understanding of working capital dynamics (inventory, WIP, cash flow impact)
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution mindset
- Decisive and analytically strong, able to balance customer needs with operational reality
- Comfortable operating in a matrix organization without direct hierarchical control
- Strong communicator who connects operations, finance, and commercial teams
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
