As a Mid Office Specialist you facilitate and control the lifecycle of all assets within our institutional clients’ their portfolios. You will monitor the orders and transactions initiated by our clients and manage the alternative investments made by our clients’ Portfolio Managers. You will be in close contact with clients on the instruction and execution of payments to support (internal) Fund Trading and all other events related to the administration of Alternative Investments like Private Equity, Private Real Estate and Hedge Funds. You will be part of the established department Middle Office Services.
About Middle Office ServicesThe Middle Office Services department has a focus on the processing of transactions and valuations of Alternative Investments like Private Equity, Private Real Estate, Other Alternative Investments and Hedge Funds. In addition a large focus is on the instruction of payments to client custodians to support our client’s Front Office trading activities.
Why this roleMiddle Office Services is part of the CACEIS Pension Centre (CPC) within CACEIS NL Branch. CPC specializes in full trade cycle support, administration and reporting services for pension funds, family offices and insurance companies in Europe. In servicing these client groups with a professional and client focused skill set, the CPC acts as extension of the Asset Manager. The CPC DNA is an Asset Management DNA; a thorough understanding of Asset Management processes, investment strategies and investment procedures.
What will your activities be as a Mid Office Specialist?- Control the lifecycle of all assets within our clients’ portfolios
- Client support for Middle Office questions and/or issues
- Sparring partner for Portfolio Managers on the administration of Alternative Investments like Private Equity, Private Real Estate, Other Alternative Investments and Hedge Funds. Support all events of the full alternative and Fund investment lifecycle
- Support the instruction of cash payments to clients custodians
- Monitor our clients’ Order flow and Trade Management.
- Contribute to the improvement of processes and participate in the roll-out of client initiated changes.
- Analyze the impact of incidents in the alternative and fund investment process and participate in writing of incident forms and action plans.
