You work from the industrial, light‑filled office on the IJ at the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam‑Noord, with a pleasant hybrid set‑up of three days in the office and two days working from home.

As Key Account Manager Belux you are the commercial pivot for Belgium and Luxembourg. You build strategic partnerships with major retailers such as Carrefour, Delhaize, Intermarché and Cactus. In addition, you are also involved in attractive growth opportunities in the Benelux f.e. For discount channel and foodservice.

You are based in The Netherlands and travel regularly to Belgium (and Luxembourg) to deepen relationships, conduct annual negotiations and visit supermarkets to prepare your commercial plans. You report directly to the Commercial Director Benelux and work closely with the sales and trade marketing teams in the Netherlands and France.

What you will do
  • Independently manage and grow key accounts in Belgium and Luxembourg and looking for other opportunities in de Benelux market.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans in line with the brand and category vision.
  • Lead annual negotiations on assortment, promotions, margins and joint activations.
  • Coordinate and follow up on volume and revenue planning; analyse performance, profitability and category potential – you know your P&L inside out.
  • Work closely with and feed (trade) marketing so that the Belgian market potential can be better unlocked.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues to align Benelux plans with the European strategy.

In short: a role with a lot of freedom, visibility and impact, in which you put the Belux business firmly on the map and contribute to sustainable growth of Deoleo's strong A‑brands.

Profile - what you bring

You are an entrepreneurial Key Account Manager who feels at home in an international FMCG environment and gets energy from building, analysing and negotiating.

Must-haves
  • Experience with Belgian retail – preferably with customers such as Delhaize, Carrefour, Colruyt and/or other major players.
  • At least approx. 3 years of FMCG sales experience at head office level (or ready to convincingly take that step).
  • Strong track record in annual negotiations and in developing strategic account plans.
  • Excellent numerical skills; you can read P&Ls, steer on margin and build business cases.
  • Languages: fluent French and English.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s level of education.
Personality
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and no‑nonsense: you spot opportunities and act on them.
  • Strong in stakeholder management – you switch easily between retail customers, internal teams and international colleagues.
  • Analytically sharp but also very hands‑on in execution.
  • A true team player with an excellent fit with the Benelux team.
  • Affinity with sustainability and able to tell the brand story convincingly to customers.
  • Living in the Netherlands.
