We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance. While work schedules are dependent on client demand, a minimum of two days per week is expected in the CGI office or at a client site.
Your future duties and responsibilities:As an IT Defence Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients and represent CGI on high-profile engagements supporting Australia's national interests.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the face of CGI on high-profile defence and government accounts
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients to deliver innovative digital solutions to complex challenges
- Delivering projects in a project management capacity and/or as a consulting subject matter expert
- Developing and managing detailed project plans
- Building executive-level client relationships and supporting business growth by identifying opportunities to expand existing engagements
- Collaborating with clients and third-party vendors to plan, sell, and implement solutions
- Identifying opportunities to build Australian sovereign capability to meet client needs
- Travelling to client locations across SA, NSW, and ACT, as required
We support several critical IT and client-facing programs and are continually seeking SDI specialists and domain experts to join our teams.
- We are looking for experience and/or qualifications in one or more of the following areas:
- Experience working within Space, Defence, or Government sectors
- Background in client advisory or consulting, with some technical capability
- Willingness and ability to travel and work away from home when required
- PV security clearance is preferred; candidates holding NV1 or NV2 clearance will also be considered
