Product Data Manager

Who are you?

As a Product Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing product data across our entire European portfolio. You play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability for both internal teams and external stakeholders. With your structured and hands‑on approach, you improve processes and contribute to efficient product lifecycle management.

Your Responsibilities:

Product Data Management

• Manage and maintain product master data for the entire product portfolio.
• Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date product data within our Product Information Management (PIM) system.
• Set up and improve processes for product data and database management.
• Manage the interface between the European product database and various country websites.
• Support product managers and trade marketers with product lifecycle activities (phasing in/out).
• Provide customers and internal stakeholders with product data in various formats (e.g. Excel, BMECat).
• Support European product managers and account managers on all product data‑related matters.
• Manage external vendors and agencies supporting data management.
• Initiate corrective actions where needed to ensure data quality and consistency.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with local marketing, sales teams, and customers regarding product data.
• Align with internal stakeholders to ensure data meets commercial and operational needs.
• Act as a key point of contact for all product data‑related topics.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Experience in product management and/or product marketing management.

Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to set clear deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills, including understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) principles.
• Familiarity with ETIM classification and BMECat/DICO standards is important.
• Strong command of English; other European languages are a plus.
• Clear verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively.
• Professional and structured working style, even under pressure.
• Interest in technical and product‑related subjects.
• Practical, hands‑on mentality.
