Are you an analytical retail planner who loves turning data into smart business decisions? We're partnering with a leading global sports & fashion brand to find a Senior Business Planner to support their retail partners team.
In this role, you'll own the short- and long-term business planning for several key retail banners/accounts, combining assortment, finance and inventory planning into one clear story. You'll work closely with sales teams in France and Spain, finance and retail partners to drive profitable growth.
What you'll be doing- Own the business planning for 2-4 key banners/accounts, acting as the planning partner for internal sales teams and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain short- and long-term plans across your accounts - from revenue, margin and inventory to open-to-buy and in-season phasing.
- Combine business planning + assortment planning: translating consumer demand and product strategies into concrete, data-backed plans.
- Analyze retail performance (sell-out, inventory levels, margins, markdowns, store KPIs) and turn insights into clear actions for your stakeholders.
- Work closely with finance on KPIs and retail math, ensuring your plans align with commercial targets and profitability goals.
- Connect with country teams in France and Spain and partner with the sales/account teams to align on plans, risks and opportunities.
- Present your findings and recommendations using Excel and reporting tools, supporting decision making with clear and structured analysis.
- Act as a connector between planning, sales and partners - building strong relationships and challenging the status quo when needed.
- 3-5+ years of experience in retail / fashion / sportswear, in roles such as:

- Assortment Planner
- Business Planner
- Merchandise / Merchandising Planner
- Demand or Inventory Planner (with strong retail focus)
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel; you're comfortable working with large data sets and doing retail math (margins, markups/markdowns, OTB, stock KPIs).
- Experience working close to finance and sales, with a good understanding of KPIs and commercial performance.
- Proven stakeholder / account management skills - you're confident in client-facing discussions and can connect different teams and markets.
- A proactive, fast learner who enjoys taking ownership and can quickly understand new tools, processes and account structures.
- Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus, but not required).
