Le Guess Who? exists to promote sounds that are often overlooked, and to platform fresh perspectives on what is possible in music. Artists from all over the world push the boundaries of expectations and offer an insight into the unprecedented diversity of human creativity.U? is the participative and freely accessible city program of Le Guess Who?, celebrating local and creative communities across the Netherlands, with a strong focus on Utrecht.On 7 & 8 November, U? organizes a festival-playground in the Cartesius area as well as separate, stand-alone events happening throughout the city of Utrecht. U? presents performances, exhibitions, communal dinners, talks, participatory formats, and educational activities that foster social connection.
Le Guess Who? is looking for a program intern for U?
As an intern, you will have a valuable role within the program team and will gain insight into the program department of the organization. You will work together with the U? team and assist with the U? program. You will support a variety of tasks, and we also encourage you to put forward your own ideas: creativity and taking initiative are highly valued. Next to that you will take part in general team meetings and program meetings.
The number of hours per week and the exact duration of the internship are somewhat flexible; preference is given to an internship of 24 hours per week, from May till December.
Tasks and responsibilities include:- Assisting and (co-)programming for U?.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure the U?-programming is communicated effectively.
- Organizing and programming the U? reading groups that take place monthly at the Le Guess Who? Office.
- Being part of program meetings and sharing suggestions/insights for U? as well as Le Guess Who? and COSMOS.
- Has an extraordinary interest in (new) music, art and cultural developments, both locally and internationally.
- Can work both independently and in a team.
- Has an attentiveness towards socio-cultural topics.
- Shows initiative and can convert interests and ideas into concrete actions.
- Resides in the Netherlands.

- The organization of Le Guess Who? consists of a small team, which gives you an inspiring and interesting look behind the scenes of the festival, not only in terms of programming, but also in terms of production and marketing.
- A compensation of €500,- per month for a full-time internship.
