Lead Future Ready Portfolio Management

Do you want play a leading role in the execution of the NN Group wide (digital) transformation? We are looking for a lead Portfolio Management who is able to steer the NN Group wide strategic direction for the years to come. Like many companies, NN Group is focused on digital transformation. In this respect, we developed an extensive programme, called 'Future Ready'. The overall direction of the journey we embarked on is clear, but no doubt there will be changes and challenges during the execution of our plans - which you will be leading.

What you are going to do

• As Lead Future Ready Strategic Portfolio Management, you are responsible for driving the group-wide portfolio management and PMO of NN Group's Future Ready transformation. You ensure that a broad set of cross-functional initiatives across key workstreams is aligned, on track, and delivering against strategic objectives, timelines and business case commitments. Key topics include: IT simplification, Data & AI, digital frictionless journeys, standardising support processes and profitable growth
• You maintain a clear and up-to-date overview of all workstreams and projects on overarching level (Group-wide), actively monitoring progress, dependencies and risks. You identify deviations early, challenge where needed and drive timely resolution of impediments to keep the transformation on track. You work closely with programme and project leads across the organisation, ensuring strong alignment and consistency in execution
• You lead the preparation of board-level reporting and decision materials, translating complex portfolio dynamics into clear, concise and actionable insights for MB and MB-1 stakeholders. You are comfortable operating at this level, facilitating discussions, supporting decision-making and ensuring follow-up on agreed actions
• You also lead a small team, with the PMO Consultant, Change & Communication Specialist and Value Office specialist for financial business case tracking (formally part of Group Finance) reporting to you, ensuring strong coordination across governance, financial and non-financial reporting and engagement activities
• In addition, you play a key role in shaping and driving change and communication activities, ensuring that the transformation is clearly understood, well-coordinated and effectively embedded across the organisation. You contribute to maintaining momentum, transparency and engagement throughout the programme
• You are responsible for safeguarding the overall business case of Future Ready, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and in line with expected value creation
• You have a MT position in the Strategy & Transformation Office (~10-15 fte) with two main capabilities: Portfolio Management Future Ready (your role) and Strategy Consultancy Pool. This team is reporting directly to the CEO of NN Group

Who you are

• You have extensive experience in portfolio management, PMO or transformation delivery, ideally within a complex, cross-functional environment. You are highly structured and able to maintain oversight across multiple initiatives, while understanding the details when needed
• You bring strong stakeholder management skills and are comfortable engaging with senior leadership, including MB, MB-1 and MB-2 stakeholders. You communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, and are able to translate complexity into clear messages and decisions
• You are proactive and results-driven, with the ability to identify risks and issues early and drive resolution across organisational boundaries. You combine a strong sense of ownership with a collaborative mindset and are able to create alignment across diverse stakeholders
• You have experience with governance, reporting and business case tracking within large-scale transformation programmes, and understand the importance of change management and communication in driving successful execution
• You are fluent in Dutch and English and have a strong affinity with financial services and large-scale transformation

Who you will work with

You are part of the Strategy & Transformation Office which consists of two teams: Portfolio management Future Ready programme and the Strategy Consulting Pool. The team has a direct reporting line to the CEO of NN Group.
