Role DescriptionAs a Product Development Manager, you will lead end-to-end development of innovative nutrition products by translating consumer and business needs into scalable product solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, technology, marketing, and external partners to drive formulation, testing, and commercialization within the medical nutrition category, ensuring delivery of innovation projects aligned with strategic growth objectives.
Responsibilities- Apply consumer-focused and exploratory approaches to develop innovative and renovated products in the adult medical nutrition category.
- Translate long-term business and market insights into actionable R&D projects.
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle, including concept shaping, laboratory testing, trials, and final delivery.
- Contribute to category meetings to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with third-party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Critically assess current development processes, challenge existing methods, and capture valuable insights for continuous improvement.
- MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Bio-Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Nutrition Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in product development or R&D, ideally within the nutrition or food sectors.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Innovative, consumer-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
