For the Hospitality Group of IMP, consisting of De Plesman and FINE Hotels & Suites, we are looking for a Commercial Director who will lead all commercial and revenue-generating initiatives across the portfolio. Interested in learning more? We would be happy to get in touch with you.

Your Role

As Commercials Director within the Hospitality Group, you are responsible for the commercial strategy and revenue performance of both hotel concepts. You ensure optimal market positioning and sustainable growth, while aligning all initiatives with the organization’s 1–5 year strategic plan.

You play a key role in maximizing room and MICE revenue across the portfolio and take a hands-on role in driving commercial results at each property. In close collaboration with the leadership team and property-level sales teams, you translate strategy into concrete actions that improve occupancy, profitability, and market share.

Leadership

You report to the Managing Director and collaborate closely with the Leadership Team consisting of:

· Finance Director

· Brand & Marketing Manager

· Maintenance Manager

· People & Culture Manager

· Hotel Managers

You also lead the Sales Managers and Event Teams at each property, providing hands-on guidance and ensuring consistent commercial execution across the portfolio.

You work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager to ensure room and MICE revenue targets are achieved, while maintaining responsibility for partnerships and continuously identifying new opportunities to increase commercial performance.

Your Responsibilities

Strategy & Alignment (1–5 Year Horizon)

· Define and execute a comprehensive 1–5 year sales and revenue strategy

· Set measurable revenue, market share, and commercial performance targets

· Align sales and revenue plans with overall business objectives

· Provide structured reporting and strategic updates to the Managing Director

· Ensure commercial initiatives contribute to sustainable revenue growth and long-term asset value

Revenue & Commercial Leadership

· Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize RevPAR, ADR, and total revenue

· Oversee pricing, distribution, and channel management

· Lead the overall commercial strategy including direct sales, group sales, corporate accounts, and partnerships

· Manage existing partnerships and identify new opportunities to increase room and MICE revenue

· Collaborate with Hotel Managers and property sales teams to drive local sales initiatives and maximize occupancy and profitability

· Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and commercial performance metrics

Team Leadership & Development

· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and revenue team

· Provide hands-on guidance to Sales Managers and Event Teams at each property

· Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and results

· Align team objectives with the broader organizational strategy

· Support succession planning and talent development within commercial functions

Financial Stewardship & Governance

· Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and revenue performance reporting

· Ensure the accuracy and reliability of sales and revenue data for management reporting

· Safeguard financial performance and contribute to overall P&L responsibility

· Integrate revenue strategies with sustainability and ESG initiatives

What You Bring

· Proven senior experience in hotel sales, revenue management, or commercial leadership

· Strong analytical and financial skills with clear P&L awareness

· Experience leading multi-property operations and cross-functional teams

· Hands-on experience with property-level sales and event operations

· Experience managing partnerships and driving room and MICE revenue growth

· Knowledge of boutique and lifestyle hotel markets is preferred

· A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong execution focus, and excellent communication skills

Where You Will Work

The Hospitality Group of IMP consists of De Plesman and FINE Hotels & Suites: two distinctive hotel concepts with a combined annual revenue of approximately €15–20 million. The organization is characterized by entrepreneurship, short lines of communication, and a strong focus on quality.

At this stage, the focus lies on controlled growth and further professionalizing and future-proofing the organization.
