Your day to day:
Perform daily maintenance and repairs across the hotel building, facilities, and equipment to ensure they remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
Support and carry out the preventive maintenance program to keep all systems and assets operating efficiently.
Respond to maintenance requests from all departments and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in maintaining compliance with health & safety, fire and life safety, and building safety regulations.
Support fire safety procedures by assisting with system checks, inspections, and maintaining required documentation.
Help maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members by identifying and addressing potential hazards or technical issues.
Coordinate daily tasks within the maintenance team and provide guidance and support to the maintenance technician.
Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize tasks, plan maintenance activities, and support ongoing projects.
Coordinate with contractors and service providers during repairs, maintenance works, and inspections when required.
Assist with maintenance projects, refurbishments, and technical upgrades.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and compliance documentation.
Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are used efficiently and maintained in good condition.
Carry out ad-hoc duties as required to support hotel operations.
What we need from you:
Good communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch. Another language is always a plus.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
A positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset.
Hands-on mentality with strong technical problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in maintenance within hospitality, facilities, or building services.
Experience in a 4/5-star hotel environment is a plus.
