Sr. Business Development Manager

We are expanding our team to expand our footprint across EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and European Commission research ecosystems. We are seeking a high-energy, well-connected, and disciplined Business Development Manager to drive commercial engagements, lead strategic bids and tenders, and develop high-impact partnerships across Europe’s advanced computing, AI, and research innovation domains.

This role will shape our positioning in major European funding and procurement frameworks and build strong institutional relationships with key research and policy stakeholders.

• Lead end-to-end commercial engagements for major European tenders, including opportunity assessment, consortium strategy, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue high-impact initiatives across EuroHPC JU, EC directorates, and European research centres.
• Build and manage senior relationships with government agencies, research institutions, technology partners, and funding bodies.
• Drive consortium formation, proposal development, and bid strategy in collaboration with internal technical, legal, and financial teams.
• Maintain a disciplined opportunity pipeline aligned with European funding cycles.
• Represent the organization with authority at HPC, AI, digital infrastructure, and research innovation events and forums.

• 7+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or public-sector engagements within the European research, HPC, AI, or advanced computing ecosystem.
• Proven experience leading large-scale public procurement or EU-funded bids (e.g., EuroHPC, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, ESA, EC tenders).
• Strong network within EU institutions, research centres, and innovation consortia.
• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to lead negotiations, manage complex multi-stakeholder engagements, and structure competitive proposals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to both public and private sector executives.
