What you do
The Mailroom Clerk receives, dispatches, sorts and distributes mail from multiple sources. These include but are not limited to local and international mail, Diplomatic Post Office (DPO) mail, diplomatic pouch material, and commercial courier services. You spend a large percentage of the time serving customers at the Mailroom service window.
What we ask (minimal requirements to apply)
· One year of experience in customer care, office assistance, or clerical work.
· Successful completion of high school or local equivalent.
OR
· Eight years of experience in customer care, office assistance, or clerical work.
· Completion of primary school.
In addition, we ask for the following minimal requirements:
· Level III (good working knowledge) English (this may be tested).
· Possession of a valid driver’s license Class B. Must be 25 years of age or older, and must have had a driver's license for a minimum of five years
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds and safely move up to 250 pounds with assistance from coworkers or use of mechanical devices.
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass security certification and may be required to obtain a Certificate of Conduct for Natural Persons (VOG) from the Ministry of Safety and Justice of the Netherlands.
What we offer
· Annual salary of EUR 40,347– EUR 52,444
· 8.33 % End of year bonus (13th month)
· 8.2% Holiday bonus
· 3.67% Duty-free days bonus
· American and Dutch public holidays (approximately 18 days per year)
· Minimum 26 days of paid annual leave per year
· One-year contract which will be renewed under the same conditions based on job performance, funding, and security clearance.
