Senior Business Consultant Offshoring (DFC)

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will join the Offshoring Team within DFC. In this role, you are responsible for independently investigating opportunities to transfer activities from the Netherlands to our Offshoring partner in India.

• You are responsible for the end-to-end process of initiating, designing, detailing and implementing the offshoring of processes.
• You take the lead and coordinate all activities that need to be arranged for this, such as Change Risk Assessments, Privacy Assessments, drafting vendor contracts, preparing exit strategies, and so forth.
• You are highly skilled in stakeholder management. Naturally energetic and collaborative, you adopt a facilitative leadership style to achieve results.
• You actively pursue collaboration with stakeholders across the Execution Teams and supporting departments, such as Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, and other support teams within DFC. Additionally, you liaise with senior management at our offshore partner in India.
• You position yourself as a partner to the vendor by collaborating, whilst also maintaining the balance between the interests of ABN AMRO and those of the vendor. By contributing to these activities, you play a crucial role in the offshoring strategy of DFC, increasing flexible deployment of resources and reducing DFC’s cost base.

Your main location is Amsterdam, but flexibility is required to travel to Amersfoort (our other site) and India. • You have an academic background.
• You possess at least 5 years' work experience within a banking institution in the field of AML.
• You have extensive experience in offshoring activities.
• Preferably, you have prior experience with offshoring work to India and are familiar with Indian culture and business practices.
• You are proactive in engaging senior stakeholders.
• You have excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• You can develop a strategy and translate it into a detailed implementation roadmap.
• You are pragmatic and results-oriented. Plans are turned into action, and actions into results.
• You have outstanding communication skills. You act with integrity and transparency.
• You are not afraid to ask questions until it is clear what needs to be done.

• The gross monthly salary displayed above (Scale 12) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with the team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
