We are looking fora QHSE Lead to strengthen and further develop an Integrated Management System in a high-risk operational environment. In this role, you’ll combine system ownership (ISO compliance, audits, governance) with hands on operational support.
You will work closely with operational leadership and project teams to ensure standards aren’t just documented, they’re applied consistently in practice.
Key responsibilities- Own and continuously improve the Integrated Management System across quality, occupational health and technical safety
- Plan, coordinate and perform internal audits, supplier audits and support external certification audits
- Track legal and industry developments and translate requirements into practical procedures and controls
- Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and lessons learned implementation
- Maintain strong document control: structure, versioning, filing discipline and governance compliance
- Advise operational leadership on QHSE risks, deviations, and mitigation measures
- Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and operational safety reviews (e.g., HAZID/HAZOP/COMOPS)
- Assess supplier performance and run compliance reviews where needed
- Manage corrective actions and ensure findings are closed effectively and on time
- Promote a proactive culture where ownership, reporting, and continuous improvement are the norm
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Safety, Engineering or similar
- 2+ years exposure to operational environments (offshore experience is a strong plus, or clear affinity with offshore operations)
- Solid experience working with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 (implementation, maintenance, or improvement)
- Experience performing internal and/or supplier audits
- Comfortable leading investigations and supporting root cause analysis methods
- Good understanding of QHSE legislation and compliance expectations
- Strong communication skills and able to influence operational stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Confident with Microsoft Office
