We are looking for a proactive professional who enjoys working in multicultural environments and is open to travelling abroad for extended periods. This is a temporary assignment offering the chance to gain unique experience while contributing to high-impact engineering projects.
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee installation activities related to low and medium voltage distribution systems, smart grids, and energy automation solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineers, subcontractors, project managers, and customers to ensure efficient project execution—from installation and testing to commissioning.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary international team within Smart Infrastructure, working alongside approximately 30 experienced Site Supervisors. Travel and rotation-based work schedules (e.g., 3 weeks onsite / 1 week off) are part of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise all on-site installation and execution activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, regulations, and project-specific standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors before and during execution.
- Oversee administrative tasks ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery.
- Represent the site team in project decision-making meetings.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain strong communication with all key stakeholders.
- Lead and guide qualified team members within your functional team.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or technical vocational training with extensive experience.
- Proven experience in installation, commissioning, or site supervision of electrical systems.
- Intercultural experience is a strong plus.
- Willingness to work abroad for extended periods.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage).
- EU passport, driver’s license, and legal residence in the Netherlands.
- Ability to work in rotation schedules or longer periods on-site.
