At our Dutch location in Noord-Brabant, you'll join a warm, social, and highly collaborative Finance team. We are now looking for a Cost Controller who enjoys analytical work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants real ownership within an international context.

Job Description

This is a standalone role in which you are the costing specialist for the Dutch operations. You work closely with colleagues in Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and international teams in Israel and France. Expect variety, freedom, and meaningful impact.

Your core activities (and their real weight) 1. Costing & Product Profitability (±50%) – the core of the job

You turn data into insights that directly influence business decisions.

• Analyze cost prices, margins, and product profitability
• Perform costing queries and validations
• Calculate cost prices and monitor cost developments
• Provide clear, practical financial advice to internal stakeholders

2. Inventory Valuation & Supply Chain Support (±30%)

Seeds are valuable assets – and complex. You help keep stock valuation correct and aligned across subsidiaries.

• Analyze inventory positions, trends, and valuation issues
• Solve challenges in inventory valuation
• Join production and supply chain meetings as Finance's representative
• Support 11 international subsidiaries on stock-related topics

3. Systems, Data & Reporting (±20%)

Together with Finance and IT, you help strengthen data foundations and reporting.

• Work with our ERP system (Oracle/JDE)
• Improve and expand stock reports in BI tools
• Implement costing and inventory methodologies used across the broader group
• Contribute to continuous process improvements

The Successful Applicant

You enjoy analytical work, understand product costing, and feel at home in a business partnering role.

You bring:

• HBO degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience (Cost Controlling, Business Controlling, Cost Accounting)
• Experience in an industrial or international environment
• Strong MS Office skills; ERP familiarity (Oracle‑JDE is a plus)
• Fluent English (spoken & written)

• Salary between €65.000 - €75.000
