Are you ready to take on this challenge?In this role, you’ll shape how organizations turn Data and AI ambition into real, executable outcomes. You will work at the front of complex engagements, helping clients clarify what they should do, why it matters, and how to do it without unnecessary risk.
You combine strategic thinking with practical judgment. You enjoy ambiguity, ask sharp questions, and are comfortable challenging assumptions early to ensure teams build the right things in the right way.
Your role- Translate business strategy and ambition into feasible Data and AI initiatives, turning vague or generic “we want AI” ambitions into concrete, actionable plans.
- Lead early-stage discovery, framing, and Phase Zero engagements.
- Shape proposals, scopes, and Statements of Work together with Sales and technical teams.
- Challenge assumptions and identify risks around value, feasibility, data readiness, and delivery.
- Define success criteria, sequencing, and go or no-go decisions for initiatives.
- Act as strategic counterpart to senior client stakeholders.
- Maintain coherence from pre-sales through handover and remain involved during delivery to ensure scope, assumptions, and priorities evolve deliberately as learning occurs.
- Protect delivery teams by enforcing clear scope, expectations, and decision boundaries, especially when change pressure emerges.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product, and Sales teams to align strategy, feasibility, and execution reality.
- Contribute to the development of Xomnia’s strategy playbooks, offerings, and ways of working.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, product leadership, data strategy, or similar roles, with experience launching new initiatives, products, or experiments in ambiguous environments.
- Proven experience owning ambiguous problems and shaping them into concrete plans.
- Comfort operating at the intersection of business, data, and technology.
- Enough technical fluency in data and AI to challenge solutions and trade-offs.
- Experience with stakeholder management at senior and executive level.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just outputs.
- A consulting mindset: you enjoy listening, challenging, and guiding clients toward better decisions.
- Clear, structured communication and the ability to say no when needed.
- Fluent in English. Dutch is a strong plus.
- A drive to continuously learn, improve, and share knowledge with others.
This role is not a fit if you prefer clear instructions over ambiguous problems, or if you are most comfortable focusing purely on execution without owning scope and direction.
