Our focus is on helping Chief Risk Officers (CROs) / Chief Compliance Officers (CCOs) and senior risk and compliance executives support sustainable and profitable growth. We achieve this by modernizing their functions, “agentifying” processes, enhancing data insights, and optimizing controls to meet regulatory, business, and operational demands. This role combines thought leadership, strategic advisory, commercial growth, and hands‑on delivery oversight. You will be a key contributor to our Compliance portfolio and a leader within our Dutch Financial Services practice.
Your ImpactLead Regulatory Change & RegTech Transformation.
- Drive large‑scale transformation programs, with a focus on the latest Dutch and EU regulatory developments (e.g., AMLR 2027, DORA, MiCA, EU AI Act).
- Spearhead regulatory technology (RegTech) transformation initiatives, guiding clients through the adoption and integration of cutting‑edge regulatory solutions to streamline compliance and enhance operational resilience.
- Advise C‑level executives and heads of Compliance, Risk, and Operations on building resilient, future‑ready compliance functions.
- Lead the implementation of generative AI and agentic AI technologies, ensuring that these advanced tools are deployed responsibly to automate compliance processes, improve risk management, and deliver actionable insights.
- Champion the use of RegTech platforms, generative AI, and agentic AI to drive innovation and efficiency across all aspects of compliance.
- Translate complex regulatory changes into actionable strategies, operating models, and technology‑enabled solutions for major Dutch and European banks, fintechs, and payment service providers.
- Incorporate industry best practices and innovative solutions—including generative AI, analytics, workflow automation, and data‑driven compliance—into client engagements.
- Integrate Responsible AI principles into regulatory programs, ensuring ethical, transparent, and explainable use of AI and analytics in relevant processes.
- Lead the adoption of Accenture’s Responsible AI frameworks, aligning with the EU AI Act and industry best practices to mitigate risk, enhance trust, and deliver sustainable value.
- Bring innovation (GenAI, workflow automation, data‑led compliance) to client engagements, leveraging Accenture’s global AI strategy and assets.
- Develop and expand the Compliance team, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and high performance.
- Own and grow client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the Dutch compliance landscape.
- Lead business development, proposal creation, and go‑to‑market strategies, identifying new opportunities in risk & compliance, regulatory change, and Responsible AI.
- Represent Accenture at industry events, contributing to thought leadership and shaping the future of compliance in the Netherlands.
- 8–12+ years deep experience in Dutch regulatory frameworks and European compliance standards.
- Proventrack recordleading transformation programs that combine regulatory change, technology, and business growth.
- Experience embedding Responsible AI principles in compliance or risk management, with a strong understanding of ethical AI governance.
- Ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams; drive business development; and build lasting client partnerships.
- Excellent English skills; Dutch fluency strongly preferred.
