Passionate about international business and working in a competitive environment? As export manager at Hoogwegt International you are responsible for trading milk powders and various dairy commodities across Africa and the Middle East.
What are you going to do?As an Export Manager / Trader you are responsible for buying and selling milk powders and other dairy products to countries in Africa (70%) and the Middle East (30%). You will be in close and regular contact with buyers, suppliers and colleagues in your own office. In close cooperation with your team of direct colleagues you coordinate the business and take commercial decisions. You will become responsible for a package of existing and new customers. You will need to travel regularly to visit your customers/markets, on average approximately 10-20% of your time. You will be based in Arnhem.
Job requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 1 to 5 years of relevant commercial experience (sales, business development or account management)
- Proven commercial mindset with a focus on results
- Able to translate market and customer insights into concrete actions
- Hands‑on and comfortable working in challenging environments
- Clear and persuasive communicator and team‑player
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
- Experience in or affinity with Africa and/or the Middle East is an advantage
- Willing to travel approximately 10-20% of the time
- Based in the Netherlands
