As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you develop state-of-the-art application software for challenging high-tech projects. In this role, you support our customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industries with the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native applications. You combine deep technical expertise with a hands-on mindset and are comfortable working across the entire software lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Designing and implementing scalable software using Object-Oriented Design, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows, Cloud Build, ArgoCD and scripting (bash).
- Developing in Java and Python and working with relational databases.
- Working with OpenAPI specifications and automated testing frameworks to ensure quality from end to end.
- Coaching team members and contributing to knowledge sharing and process improvements.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
- You have 5+ years of experience in technical software development across different roles and (product) environments and / or projects.
- You have spent the last 2 years working within technical domains such as Semicon, Medical or Analytical.
- You have experience in building and operating cloud-native solutions.
- You have experience with the following programming languages: JAVA and Python and are proficient with Google Cloud Platform.
- You have knowledge / experience with various development methods and techniques such as Design Patterns, UML, Agile and keep your professional knowledge up to date. You are looking for an environment where you can also apply these developments in your daily work.
- It is an advantage if you can coach juniors or are willing to learn more about coaching on the job.
