What you’ll doAs a Junior Finance Controller at Adsomnia, you will play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, international environment. You’ll work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, clean financial processes, and reliable reporting that supports the company’s growth.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, numbers, and improving processes, while also wanting to grow into broader financial responsibilities over time.
Your responsibilities as our Junior Financial Controller:- Financial Administration: Book and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, and the general ledger.
- Invoice & Payment Processing: Process incoming and outgoing invoices and ensure bank payments are executed accurately and on time.
- Reconciliations & Closing Support: Perform regular reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Systems & Tools: Work with accounting and finance software (Visma is a big plus) and use Excel to support financial reporting and analysis.
- Process Support: Help maintain accurate financial records and contribute to improving finance processes as the company grows.
- Collaboration & Growth: Work closely with colleagues across the organization and gradually take on broader finance and controlling responsibilities.
- Around 2 years of experience in a company finance department or accounting firm.
- Experience with booking and reconciling AP, AR, bank transactions, and the general ledger.
- Experience with Visma is a plus.
- Comfortable working with fast-paced software tools and eager to learn new systems.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented way of working.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.
- A hands-on finance role with real responsibility and ownership from day one.
