As a MEMS Development Engineer II, you will use your technical and creative problem‑solving skills to develop MEMS technology and resonators for SiTime’s next‑generation timing products. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.
Responsibilities- Characterize electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance of MEMS resonators
- Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS characterization
- Participate in MEMS resonator design and development
- Interface with local and overseas vendors
- Work in cross‑functional teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging
- Drive and/or support projects and other company goals as needed
- MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent. PhD preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered
- Ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments
- Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, and fundamentals of MEMS devices.
- Coding proficiency with MATLAB or Python and measurement automation experience preferred
- Finite Element Simulation experience preferred
- Knowledge of oscillator fundamentals preferred
- Positive attitude and motivation to learn new skills
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative fast‑paced team environment
- Clear and concise scientific communication
